Two aces and a kill from McCalister, along with two aces from Sam Sizemore and a kill from Hardin, helped guide the Green and White to an 11-4 lead.

An ace from Brooklyn Roldan of the Marauders cut his team’s deficit to 11-6. However, Allen Park scored the next seven points and went up to 11, helped by two aces from Katelyn Stetz. The Jags continued to dominate and eventually wrapped up the set with a 13-point win.

Tuesday night’s third set was tied for much of the way.

The Jags kept rolling and at the end of the set got two more aces from Sizemore and a kill from McCalister. Leading 24-10, Hardin came on and drilled the ball for her 20th kill of the night and ended the set and the match.

Allen Park is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, September 20 and will face league foe Lincoln Park at home. Two nights later, the Jags will visit Woodhaven, which is the defending league champion.

The Marauders are expected to continue league play Thursday at home against Taylor High. Carlson travels to Erie Mason on Monday September 19 for a non-league match and he will return to DRL action the following day at Southgate Anderson.
