Truly spectacular cars are meant to be seen as well as driven. But more often than not, even the most exceptional automobiles are found stored in dull decors. Supercar Capsule hopes to change that.
Founded by designers Andrea Sensoli and Alexandre Greep, the bespoke company makes car displays worthy of any collector’s most expensive four-wheeled toy, with an aesthetic to suit the car’s home, accessories and everything. .
The founding duo, the creators of Superfuturedesign and ASZarchitetti, have 20 years of collective experience in luxury architecture and interior design. Having worked with brands ranging from Chloé to Dior to Louis Vuitton, they have many luxury showcases to their credit (more than 400 and more). The founders say they used that experience to design bespoke displays that can polish even the most limited edition vehicle.
The idea, more or less, is to transform a given space into a showroom completely personalized to its environment, with the lighting and decor chosen to best showcase a supercar. It is the antithesis of parking in an arid and dusty concrete block garage. And the results vary depending on the home and the client’s preferences: a villa extension, for example, creates a new display box in an existing interior so that one wall becomes a museum-like display case. A refurbishment of the box, meanwhile, involves a complete makeover of a garage interior to give it a whole new look, fresh finishes, and nifty lighting effects. The Detached Box calls for the construction of a whole new space outside of a dwelling so that the car can be presented in a sculptural way. Finally, a mechanized tower creates two or more floors to maximize space without having to hide top-notch automobiles.
Supercar Capsule oversees every element from design and construction to completion, with input from the customer, of course. Prices start at around $ 45,000. The only question is: which car would you give that very special treat?
