Since its conception in 2011 by husband and wife duo Charlotte and Sam Miller, Muriel’s kitchen has continued to lead the way with its delicious food and drink offerings and relaxing atmosphere. And now they are set to open a brand new restaurant, cafe and espresso bar at the National Gallery in early 2022. This exciting collaboration will allow Muriel’s to exclusively offer their popular food and drinks in one of the locations. most emblematic of London.

Muriel’s Kitchen is named after Charlotte’s grandmother and her love of cooking and it’s something the bistro sums up to the heart. The current bistro is also a popular respite for museum visitors and art lovers exploring the nearby attractions of “South Ken”. This cultural association means it is natural to partner with the National Gallery, one of the world’s largest art galleries and London’s most visited attractions.

The National Gallery‘s three new Muriel’s Kitchen locations will offer dining options to suit all needs. An espresso bar will offer on-the-go service, while the cafe will take inspiration from the South Kensington restaurant, serving a seasonal menu in a casual setting. Plus, a stand-alone restaurant with its own branded entrance will welcome non-gallery visitors, as well as those looking to enhance their visit, with a spacious and effortlessly cool atmosphere for any occasion. Serving an a la carte menu celebrating the best produce Britain has to offer, the restaurant will be open from breakfast to dinner, including weekend brunches and afternoon tea, with also a private dining room and a cocktail bar.
