After 669 days of Covid delay, The Stadium Tour with Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Poison has finally arrived at Nationals Park. Poison, the kings of unapologetic glamour, set the tone by staying true to what they’ve always been – the quintessential party band. From “Talk Dirty to Me” to “Unskinny Bop”, Poison played all their hits, ending their frenetic hour-long set with “Nothin’ But a Good Time”.
After a nearly 90-minute whirlwind delay, which cut Def Leppard’s set short, Mötley Crüe took to the stage ripping through classics like “Wild Side”, “Shout at the Devil” and “Live Wire” in the pouring rain. Le Crüe sent fans home happy, albeit drenched, capping off a memorable night with “Kickstart My Heart” and vowing to return to DC again. Photos by Rich Kessler.
