A delivery of Christmas presents is now complete.
On Sunday we posted a story about a big sack of Christmas presents found in the 9 1/2 Mile Road and Pine Forest Road area on Christmas morning.
The gifts were found not only by any old Scrooge, but by a special elf. No, a Christmas angel who delivered the gifts to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Norman Carlisle read the NorthEscambia.com article around 1:15 a.m. Sunday and knew immediately that the gifts belonged to his adult daughter Jaclyn Chattin.
âWe packed them off 9 1/2 Mile Road and headed home,â she said. âThey fell from our truck.
The gifts were intended for Chattin’s 5 year old son Dawson as family Christmas gifts.
Chattin collected the gifts Monday morning from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for Dawson City, and the Sheriff’s Office dropped off a gift bag full of gifts, including a cup and an official ESCO soccer ball.
âThanks for the post and especially to that honest person who made them,â Carlisle wrote on Facebook.
âIt’s a merry Christmas,â Chattin said.
