Thousands take part in Race for Life Southampton – photo gallery


THOUSANDS of people laced up their running shoes to participate in Race for Life today.

Cancer Research’s popular annual event took place on Southampton Common and saw participants run 3k, 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy Kids to raise money for life-saving cancer treatment.

Over £212,000 has been raised today, which will help scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, helping to save more lives.
